Choosing the Energy of Our Truth by Dee Wallace

I am not a political person. In fact, I am the most apolitical person anyone could hope to fork in the roadbe. I am, however, a spiritual person. I know how energy works, and what the truth is: the love for ourselves and others is the most powerful creative force in the world. In a year of political decisions, that is an important truth to know.

These are the truths of energy: energy is everything, what you focus on brings energy into physical manifestation, and you cannot hold dualities of focus without having manifestation sabotaged in some way. This brings us to choice, and the opportunity to choose how we want to focus the energy of Us and U.S.

It seems apparent, even to the most disinterested, that there are two extreme camps surfacing in our political system. Possibly the most polarized we have ever experienced. One camp seems to be inviting balance, working together, equality and emotional harmony. The other camp is obviously more aggressive, fear-based; definitely not team players, and emotionally a bit tyrannical.

If everything is energy, and all energy expresses itself from within to without, these two polarities are representative of what is going on within each of us: we know the truth of love, working together and harmony, and yet we allow ourselves to be taken over by the fear of lack, greed, and doubt. I am not referring to political parties, but to the duality of polarities existing in us all. We choose to leave the truth of peace for the high of confrontation and winning. But we are losing against ourselves; a house divided falls, or at the least, is compromised. And we are compromising the power of self-choice and steadfastness for a he said/she said mentality.

Our consciousness is our intellect. Our heart is the highest guidance. When we leave the love that we know is the most creative force on earth and succumb to the doubt and questioning of the ego centered mind, we end up in fear. And, as we know, there is “nothing to fear but fear itself.”

So we need to ask ourselves, “What am I focused on? What is my perception of creation? What is my perception of myself in the equation of the creation of the world I am living in?” Because as we perceive ourselves, and perceive ourselves in the context of the whole, it is delivered to us.

During the campaign, let us take the opportunity of asking which energy expresses our truth: doubt, fear, and polarization? Or peace, fairness, love and unity? If the latter is the definition of the country we want, that is the person we must be, and that is the energy we must support.
